LOST LOVE

I’m at a loss for words

I have too many conflicting feelings inside my chords

Sadness, regret, longing, and wishing you were here 

I need to let these feelings out my inside chords

It’s been here, for as long as I can remember

Don’t ever claim I just walked away

I tried, still trying , its all on display

Attempting  the impossible, whilst

knowing I’ll fail

It must be significant in some way

 

I’m on the edge of letting go

Please alter my perceptions

I require it the most right now
